ENSEÑANZA DE LAS INFECCIONES DE TRANSMISIÓN SEXUAL PARA ESTUDIANTES DE GRADUACIÓN EN ENFERMERÍA DE BRASIL

Abstract

Objetivo: identificar el enfoque de las Infecciones de Transmisión Sexual dentro de las Carreras de Grado en Enfermería de Universidades Federales de Brasil en el período de 1972 a 2023.

Método: estudio cualitativo, histórico y social, con uso de fuentes orales y documentales. Se realizaron entrevistas con 23 docentes de cinco carreras de grado en enfermería de Brasil. Para el análisis de los datos se utilizó el software Atlas.ti versión 9.0 y también Análisis de Contenido.

Resultados: se enumeraron tres categorías: "Estrategias y acciones realizadas en la enseñanza de las Infecciones de Transmisión Sexual", "Articulación de la enseñanza con las políticas públicas" y "Actuación como docente frente al tema".

Conclusión:  la enseñanza involucra educación en salud, consulta de enfermería, diagnóstico y tratamiento, en clases prácticas y teóricas, con énfasis en las disciplinas de salud de la mujer y del adulto. Los docentes tienen autonomía en la forma en que se ofrece la enseñanza a los estudiantes en términos de contenido, estrategias y uso de políticas públicas.
