Abstract

The objective was to identify the role of nurses
in post-renal transplant, showing the main care for these
patients. For this, an integrative review was conducted
in September 2013, with four databases as sources,
using the key words: Renal Transplant, Nursing care
(processes, interventions) and Post Transplant. 110 articles
were identified, of which 13 met the inclusion criteria
and were divided into three categories: Coordination of
Nursing; Nursing Assistance; and Health Education. The
literature points to the scope and importance of nursing
coordination, care in the short and long-term, teaching
and research. Nursing Care Systematization proved to be
very useful to support nursing interventions and improve
clinical outcomes. Thus, further studies on the subject are
needed, especially on the educational aspect of nursing
performance.

Ualison Oliveira Pontes, Universidade Federal do Acre

Graduando do curso de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal do Acre, integrante da Liga Acadêmica Acriana de Enfermagem em Transplantes-LAAET, e monitor (bolsista) da disciplina de Enfermagem em Clínica Médico-Cirúrgica. No ano de 2012 foi monitor (bolsista) da disciplina de Fundamentos de Enfermagem II do Centro de Ciências da Saúde e do Desporto, da Ufac.

Possui graduação em Medicina pela Universidade de São Paulo (1989) e mestrado em Medicina (Cirurgia do Aparelho Digestivo) pela Universidade de São Paulo (1998). Atualmente é coordenador da pós-graduação do Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo, coordenador servtx figado, pancreas, panc-rim do Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo, sócio diretor - HEPATO Clinica Médica Ltda, coordenador do serviço de transplantes do Hospital Bandeirantes, coordenador tx figado, pancreas, pancreas-rim do Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz, coordenador servtx figado, pancreas, panc-rim do Hospital e Maternidade São Camilo e coordenador servtx pancreas, pancreas-rim da Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Hospital Albert Einstein. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Cirurgia Experimental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: transplante, pacientes candidatos, diabetes, ilhotas pancreáticas e pancreas e pancreas/rim.
