ENSINO DAS INFECÇÕES SEXUALMENTE TRANSMISSÍVEIS PARA ESTUDANTES DE GRADUAÇÃO EM ENFERMAGEM DO BRASIL

Abstract

Objetivo: identificar a abordagem das Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis dentro dos Cursos de Graduação em Enfermagem de Universidades Federais do Brasil no período de 1972 a 2023.

Método: estudo qualitativo, histórico e social, com uso de fontes orais e documentais. Realizadas entrevistas com 23 docentes de cinco cursos de graduação em enfermagem do Brasil. Para análise dos dados utilizou-se o software Atlas.ti versão 9.0 e também Análise de Conteúdo.

Resultados: elencaram-se três categorias: “Estratégias e ações realizadas no ensino das Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis”, “Articulação do ensino com as políticas públicas” e “Atuação enquanto docente frente ao tema”.

Conclusão: o ensino envolve educação em saúde, consulta de enfermagem, diagnóstico e tratamento, em aulas práticas e teóricas, com ênfase nas disciplinas de saúde da mulher e do adulto. Os docentes possuem autonomia na maneira como o ensino é ofertado para os estudantes em termos de conteúdo, estratégias e utilização das políticas públicas.
