Abstract

Objetivo: Estimar el índice de positividad del anticuerpo contra antígeno de superficie de hepatitis B con las características demográficas y categorías de exposición entre casos confirmados en municipios de 17ª Regional de Salud (Paraná, Brasil).

Método: Estudio transversal, descriptivo, cuantitativo, a partir de casos notificados/confirmados en personas con edad ≥ a 1 año, residentes en la Regional de Salud, entre 2017 y 2022. Como variable de desenlace fueron utilizados el marcador serológico y las variables de exposición categorizadas, utilizada frecuencia absoluta y relativa, test Chi-cuadrado y Exacto de Fisher.

Resultados: Las variables sexo, franja etaria, embarazo, escolarización y exposición a drogas inyectables mostraron diferencia estadística entre los grupos con índice de positividad del marcador reactivo.

Conclusión: Debe capacitarse a los profesionales de salud sobre pruebas rápidas y a completar integralmente la ficha, para que reconozcan el perfil epidemiológico de cada región y tracen estrategias específicas de prevención, control y tratamiento.
