WAYS FOR THE ASSISTANCE FOR THE HOSPITALIZED CHILD

The aim of this study is reflection about humanization strategies in attendance of the in-patient child. Based on this premise, we search to develop ways for humanization strategies through family participation in care, parents’ permanence with the child during the hospitalization; the insertion of amusing care; the installation of playgrounds and solaria; of the usage of the technique therapeutic toy; and from the hospital standard white uniforms for colored clothes of infant characteristic. This reflection intends to rouse a revaluation of the nursing professional practice in patent child of the assistance to the quotidian, in order to transform the children’s reality in Pediatric Hospital in-patient units.
