Abstract

Commonly Homeopathy’s been used in association with other therapies. This study aimed to identify

therapies used in association with homeopathy for chronic diseases, and to know about the patient’s credibility in this

treatment. Qualitative research and exploratory study with 16 chronic diseases patients in homeopathic treatment associated

with other therapies. Results reveal that osteoarticular problems and allergies were predominant pathologies in treatment,

and the dissatisfaction with allopathic medicines was the first reason to look for homeopathic treatment. However, allopathic

medicines were predominant in association with homeopathy, and the majority of the patients relate this kind of treatment

as positive. Thus, this study evidence homeopathic treatment associated to other therapies makes a better holistic

approach possible, because results better patients’ satisfaction.
