Abstract

Neste artigo exploramos uma ideia apresentada brevemente na Dialética transcendental, a saber, "razão determinante", aplicando-a num contexto de uma teoria da ação. Tal concepção é apresentada em contraste com a concepção de "causa de determinante" que é uma causa no sentido causal que explica a ação, mas não a justifica, enquanto que as "razões para agir" justificam o modo de agir e de proceder do agente. A tentativa, então, é de compreender o significado desta concepção e o papel desempenhado no agir prático, visando atingir este objetivo abordaremos a estrutura prático-deliberativa do agir para identificar o que são as "razões para agir" e suas propriedades normativas e motivacionais.
