Résumé

O presente estudo bibliográfico e documental tem como objetivo analisar aspectos da monoparentalidade feminina - fenômeno social que tem ganhado grande expressividade - e da função da mulher como provedora de família monoparental. Evidencia a particularidade das necessidades sociais deste grupo social e a imprescindibilidade da atenção do Estado, visando o exercício dos direitos dessas famílias, bem como o acesso às políticas públicas.
