Résumé

Neste trabalho pretende-se discutir acerca da relação entre os conceitos de Laicidade, Secularização e a relação do Estado com o ensino religioso nas escolas públicas. Inicialmente, será debatido os conceitos de laicidade e secularização, sua construção histórica juntamente com o papel do Estado, tendo como perspectiva a garantia de laicidade pela Constituição Brasileira e a problemática do ensino religioso nas escolas públicas, sob a égide da Constituição Federal e a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional.
