A construção identitária de indivíduos em processo de migração humanitária dentro de um ambiente de aprendizagem

Abstract
This article presents a study that took place between 2018 and 2019 about the identity construction of migrants and refugees within the classroom. It is in line with undisciplined Applied Linguistics in the sense that it brings the voices from the South, such as it is the case of crisis migrants. The LER Project (Projeto de leitura e escrita com migrantes e refugiados) promoted by PUC Minas in partnership with the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) to teach Portuguese as a Welcoming Language was chosen as the research field. In order to form the corpus, we promoted workshops of theatrical games in which the participants of the Project were invited to talk about their lives and their migratory processes. From the analysis of these workshops, we verified that the social involvement of the subject going through a migration process in Brazilian contexts, in the present, and in their country of origin, in the past, is an aspect that influences both in language learning and in the identity construction of individuals within the learning spaces. Moreover, the participants' speech revealed the importance of an environment promoted by a welcoming perspective to their identity construction processes.
