Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The article is formatted according to TEMPLATE
  • REMOVAL OF ANY IDENTIFICATION from the authors has been made in the text and in the file settings.
  • The metadata has ALL authors of the article in the correct order of authorship.
  •  All URLs contained in the text must be active at the time of submission.
  • All authors cited in the text must be included in the bibliographic references.

Author Guidelines

The article’s formatting must follow the format shown in the TEMPLATEwhich has the predefined styles to facilitate the format described below:

Text Language: Portuguese, Spanish or English.

Minimum size of the manuscript: 10 pages

Maximum size of the manuscript: 20 pages

Maximum file size: 2 Mb

File extension: .doc or .docx

Margins: Left and bottom: 3 cm; Right and Upper: 2.5 cm. reflected

Article title: Times New Roman 18, centralised, 0 pt before and 12 pt after, simple spacing

* In the case that the article is in English, the second title and summary should be in Spanish

Authors: MAXIMUM of 5 authors - Times New Roman 11, centralized, 0 pt before and 12 pt after, simple spacing (letter symbol in the corresponding author)

Affiliation: Times New Roman 8, centralized, 0 pt before and 6 pt after, simple spacing

* Institution, City, State, CountryAbstract / summary: Times New Roman 10, justified, 0 pt before and 0 pt after, simple spacing

* The abstract should contain between 100 and 200 words and should address, among others: research objective, methodology used and results found. It is allowed to indicate a maximum of five keywords per article.

Text font: Times New Roman 12; justified, 0 st before and 6 st after, spaced 1,5, first line with paragraph of 1,25 cm

***The manuscript should be structured with the following primary sections: Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion

Primary section: Times New Roman 12, all uppercase letters, bold, justified, first line with paragraph of 1.25 cm, double double,

Secondary section: Times New Roman 12, all capital letters, justified, first line with paragraph of 1.25 cm, double double,

Tertiary section: Times New Roman 12, first capital letter, justified, first line with paragraph of 1.25 cm, double double,

Graphic elements’ caption: on the element, Times New Roman 10, all capital letters, centralized, 12 is before and 0 pt after, simple spacing

Font of graphic elements: under the element, Times New Roman 10, all uppercase letters (except Latin expressions, for example, et. Al), centralized, 0 is before and 12 is later, simple spacing
