Abstract

Stimulus-stimulus pairing procedures/SSPP occur in natural verbal interaction between adults and babies. The goal of this experiment was to verify listener behavior learning by a 17-months-old infant with a combined procedure of matching-to-sample/MTS and SSPP. The participant learned twelve name-photo relations in MTS tasks, after previous exposition to the SSPP (photo-name). Experimental stimuli were twelve photos of animals and twelve two-syllable pseudo-names which were divided in four sets. The combination of the two procedures was effective for listener behavior learning which occurred with less training sessions for each one of the four stimuli sets.

Graduada em Psicologia pela UFSCar (2006); mestre em Educação Especial pelo PPGEEs/UFSCar em 2009; doutoranda em Psicologia pelo PPGPsi/UFSCar. 

Estágio sanduíche do doutorado (FAPESP) de 6 meses de duração na Bangor University, UK (2011/2012).

Experiência em ensino de discriminações simples e condicionais a bebês de até dois anos em contexto experimental desde 2003.

Carlos Barbosa Alves de Souza, UFPA

Possui graduação e Mestrado em Psicologia pela Universidade de Brasília (1994 e 1997) e doutorado em Ciencias del Comportamiento pelo Centro de Estudios e Investigaciones en Comportamiento , Universidad de Guadalajara (2001). Atualmente é Professor Associado 1 da Universidade Federal do Pará. Tem experiência na área de Psicologia Experimental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Aquisição de repertórios simbólicos e Análise conceitual em psicologia.

Maria Stella Coutinho de Alcantara Gil, UFSCar

Psicóloga pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, com mestrado em Psicologia (Psicologia Social) pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba e doutorado em Psicologia (Psicologia Experimental) pela Universidade de São Paulo. Realizou estágio de pós-doutorado no Shriver Center for Mental Retardation da Massachusetts University Medical School, EUA. Atualmente é professora associada da Universidade Federal de São Carlos, vinculada ao Departamento de Psicologia/CECH. Atua nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação Especial da UFSCar e em Psicologia. Desenvolve trabalhos de pesquisa sobre o comportamento simbólico e seus pré-correntes em bebês e sobre a interação adulto-criança, criança-criança. É coordenadora do Incluir-Núcleo de Acessibilidade da UFSCar
