Abstract

The aim of this article is to present a discussion about the usage of the origins as an Epistemological construction of History and politicalpower. It gives special attention to the concept of “Agenciamento das Origens”, in the midst of the historiography of the protestant preacher Simon Pelloutier and the catholic preacher Jacques Bossuet.
