Abstract

This paper wants to show some points on Sextus Empiricus’ Against the Grammarians. This research has been made with some questions in the horizon – frighten ones. Two of them ask about some kind of language perspective that Sextus Empiricus could have preserved in his text. If this becomes true, the other question is the possibility of this language perspective to be a pragmatic one – or not. At this point of the research, the goal is to show the movement Sextus Empiricus’ text imposes on their readers: a shift from one language perspective to another.
