O alcance especulativo da vida em Hegel

Abstract

No início do capítulo sobre a vida, na Ciência da Lógica, Hegel nos adverte sobre a especificidade da vida enquanto ideia lógica e o quanto ela deve ser diferenciada da vida na Filosofia da Natureza, e da sua relação com o espírito. Neste trabalho, nos propomos perscrutar o estatuto da vida enquanto ideia lógica e explorar algumas de suas consequências especulativas, (i) como a categoria fundamental para a questão do conhecimento, (ii) que nos permite pensar a filosofia de Hegel como holista.

At the beginning of the chapter on life in the Science of Logic, Hegel warns us about the specificity of life as a logical idea and how it should be differentiated from life in the Philosophy of Nature, and its relationship with the spirit. In this paper, we propose to scrutinize the status of life as a logical idea and explore some of its speculative consequences, (i) as the fundamental category for the question of knowledge, (ii) that allows us to think the philosophy of Hegel as holistic.
