A partir da perspectiva do direito civil constitucional o texto procura demonstrar que o conceito clássico de relação obrigacional se revelou inadequado e insuficiente para tutelar todas as vicissitudes inerentes à visão solidarista da relação obrigacional, que não mais se limita ao resultado da soma de débito e crédito, devendo abandonar tal posição estática para que o vínculo obrigacional seja visto como um processo de cooperação voltado para determinado fim.
