Abstract

O presente trabalho apresenta várias metodologias de atualização de bases digitais de dados espaciais de áreas urbanas, tomando como estudo de caso o município de Presidente Prudente, SP. Esta necessidade foi sentida tendo em vista que a Prefeitura Municipal de Presidente Prudente possuía uma base digital, a qual por sua vez necessitava ser atualizada de maneira não dispendiosa utilizando os recursos disponíveis naquele órgão. Dessa forma as soluções propostas no presente artigo foram condizentes com as condições reais do ambiente de uma Prefeitura Municipal de médio porte, que passa por inúmeros problemas sejam financeiros, políticos ou organizacionais.

Na alternative solution for updating a digital basis of spatial database in Presidente Prudente base

Abstract

This paper presents several methodological approaches for the updating of digital spatial databases of urban areas, taking Presidente Prudente, SP, as a case study. This need was detected mainly because in Presidente Prudente there was a digital spatial database which needed to be updated in such a way that the process could be as cheap as possible and the existing resources should be used. Therefore the solutions presented in this paper have shown to be adequate when the real conditions are considered.
